Ball RMA
As is the yearly tradition, the RMA MusicBand had the honour to participate in the organisation of the ball.
First the string quartet and the popband welcomed the VIP's for the buffet. In addition, this year a saxophone quartet was formed to chance the yearly routine. They too performed at the buffet and afterwards in the ballroom.
The drumband and brassband opened the ball with a routine much shorter but simular to the one performed at the Netherlands Military Tattoo. Thus showing the new obtained capability the drum-major offers to the school.
The clairon corps finished the performance with the opening of the traditional dance of the lancers.
At the end of the activity, as is the yearly tradition, the RMA MusicBand took a group picture on the stairs in the B bloc

Exchangement Breda
This weekend we went to Breda for an exchangement with the CTK. Our drum corps and our brass band have shown their best side again.
The exchangement started Thursday evening with a repetition for all the musicians. The other day they continued were we've stopped in the early morning. In the afternoon we've had a guided tour in the KMA an in the city of Breda.
The drum corps was the first to perform. They've served some music during the break in the judo competition. They used a variation of instruments wich gave a great spectacle . There were even some oriental instruments. An hour later the brass band started together with the CTK the open air concert. There were a number of swinging pop and rocksongs for the brass band. This concert was also the occasion for General major Tieskens to give a little word to his students concerning his departure from the KMA.
The exchangement was a great succes. The committee wants to thank everyone for their presence.
New site
I'm glad to announce you all that the site have had a great renewal under the hood. The webmaster has ported the old site to the joomla CMS. In the near future the RMA MusicBand hopes to serve you with more updates. Also our archives will appear online soon.
